  • the most inexpensive variant of 1W temperature sensor
  • digital waterproof sensor based on the DS18B20 chip
  • size of the metal sensor casing: 6×30 mm
  • suitable for temperature measurements in range of -10°C/+85°C (from -55°C up to +125°C with reduced accuracy)
  • compatible with all Unipi 1-Wire devices → 4-wire connection
  • easy connection to Unipi controllers using an RJ45 connector with a suitable reduction or splitter
  • more info and tips regarding sensor connection are available in the 1-Wire article

Examples of use:

  • measuring indoor or outdoor temperature for the purpose of heating regulation
  • measuring temperature of liquids stored in tanks (several sensors can be placed on various levels to improve the accuracy)
  • measuring temperature of liquids in pipes

Applicable for:

  • All Unipi PLCs with a 1W bus, including the Unipi 1.1/Lite
    • With Unipi 1W hub and splitter
  • Unipi Extension xG18

A direct connection to Unipi PLC can be performed by cutting away the connector and connecting the sensor to the 1W terminal of Patron or Neuron controllers. Older Neuron controllers and the Unipi 1.1/Lite feature an RJ45 connector, allowing for a direct connection. For more info, please visit the 1-Wire bus and sensor connection.
