Multiple template pages (HMI)

When creating a more complex project, it is possible to quite quickly run into a lack of space for graphical elements on a single page of an HMI template or SCADA diagram. The Mervis IDE system therefore allows creation of multiple pages in a single template.

For the purposes of this tutorial it is required to have:

To add another page to the template, click on the button [+] in the bottom left corner of the main window.

One page is added each time the button is clicked.

It is advisable to rename individual pages for better clarity. To rename a page, select the desired page with the mouse at the bottom of the main window and then change the Name in the right panel Properties.


In the case of multiple template pages, the buttons to the right of the [+] button are used for navigation. The outer buttons ▎◀ and ▎◀ move the page view to the far left and right, respectively. The inner buttons ◀ and ▶ will move the view just one page to the left and right, respectively.

The resulting HMI template page is displayed by entering the IP address of the PLC in the browser address bar:

To navigate between multiple pages, use the [≣ >] button in the top left corner of the web page. When the button is clicked, a drop-down menu will appear with a list of pages.
