Tip:
To set up an account for a new user, e.g. a facility manager, create an account with their email and a generated password, have the person confirm the registration, set up the account, and then securely provide the login credentials. The password can be changed right in the SCADA interface, in the user settings.

Select the data point and then choose “Set Alerts” in the “Bulk Operations” menu [☑›]

The notification settings offer the following options.

  • Type: project, path (group of data points), data point
  • Delay: the delay in sending an alarm notification after an alarm occurs
  • Transitions: occurrence, reset (transition from alarm to OK state)
  • Message: a predefined / custom message
  • Channels: mail, push
  • ID

Note:
It is also possible to define notifications for multiple data points simultaneously, just select the desired points and choose “Set notifications”. The setting is always applied to all selected data points identically.

Push notifikace

Only the mobile (PWA) version can notify. This means that on a computer it is also possible to receive notifications, but you must install the mobile version, see PC guide.

Allowing push notifications is possible under the Settings tab in the Notifications category.

* DP → data points

Once set up, an icon appears in the SCADA interface to indicate the active notification you set for data points, a group or the entire project.

The default notification text contains all relevant information and can be used for most projects. The text is also user-definable, which is particularly useful for specific notifications to third parties.

The default notification includes:

11:50:33 the time when the alarm condition was triggered
SIMPLE_DEMO project name
./SIMPLE_DEMO/Group path to the data point, name of the technological block, group, etc.
digital input: OFF data point name: data point value/state
