Extension module EMO-R8

Unipi 1.1 can be expanded by up to 56 relays. For this purpose is used the I²C expansion module EMO-R8, which can be purchased in our e-shop. Instructions for use with SW Mervis can be found here on this link.

The module can be connected using the RJ11 connection cable included in the package.

  • 8× Finder 36.11.9.005.4011 switching relay (250 V~ / 10 A or 30 V⎓ / 10 A)
  • 2× I²C port - one serves as an input (from Unipi 1.1) and the other for connecting another EMO-R8 board or another I²C extension
  • 2.1 mm power jack (DC jack) - requires power supply of 5 V⎓ / 0,6 A
  • 3× jumper for setting the address according to the table

Up to 7 different addresses can be set for this expansion module, so up to 7 of these modules can be connected to Unipi 1.1. The following table describes the position of the jumpers for setting the I²C address.
