See the table below to find out how the serial UART port is mapped into Linux ports within /dev/.

UART /dev/ttyAMA0

USB converters (FTDI, CH34x, PLxxxx and CPxxxx) are also supported by default. For using other gateways or devices, installation of drivers is necessary.

USB1 /dev/serial/by-port/0
USB2 /dev/serial/by-port/1
USB3 /dev/serial/by-port/2
USB4 /dev/serial/by-port/3
