Disconnect before carrying out maintenance or repair

  • This device is intended for use only in accordance with its specifications and applicable safety standards.
  • All connected external peripherals should comply with all relevant directives and standards applicable to the method of use and the country in which the device is operated.
  • The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage caused by improper use, incorrect installation, or modifications to the device.
  • Installation must be carried out by a qualified person in accordance with local electrical regulations.
  • The user must not disassemble or repair the device – repairs may only be performed by an authorized service center.

Compliance with directives:
This device comply with EMC, LVD, RoHS and WEEE directives applicable to European Union countries.

LVD 2014/35/EU
EMC 2014/30/EU
RoHS 2015/863/EU
WEEE 2012/19/EU
  • Ensure that the power supply voltage matches the specified values indicated on the device label or in the technical parameters. Using an incorrect power source may cause damage to the device and/or connected peripherals.
  • Do not connect the device to power if it is damaged or shows signs of malfunction.
  • Ensure that wires/cables are installed with proper strain relief.
  • Wires/cables must not be exposed to mechanical damage or environmental conditions that could degrade the cable isolation.

/↯\

Warning:
Take extra care when plugging in, there is a risk of electric shock! Always disconnect the device from all voltage sources (power supply, relays, etc.) before installation or maintenance.

  • Installation must be carried out by a qualified person in accordance with local electrical regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with the operating and installation conditions when installing the device.
  • Ensure that terminal blocks and electrical connections are firmly tightened and correctly wired.
  • The device is designed for installation in a distribution cabinet, where adequate cooling and ventilation must be ensured. If the spontaneous air circulation in the cabinet is not sufficient, airflow must be ensured by installing a fan.
  • Ensure separation of AC voltage cabling or high-voltage DC circuits with high-frequency switching cycles from signal wires and buses.
  • Keep cable lengths as short as possible. For longer cables or depending on the environment, use shielded cables.

/!\

Warning:
Improper handling may result in significant property damage, injury, or death. The cabinet in which the device is installed must be accessible only with a key or special tool. Only authorized personnel may have access to the device.

The device may only be installed indoors and in an environment that meets the product specifications (interiors with suitable temperature and humidity, cabinets protected from water ingress, etc.).

DIN mounting

/!\

Warning:
Prior to mounting, make sure that the environment is disconnected from all power sources.

If the holder for DIN rail is not installed, it must be mounted first with the supplied screws (M3x5, DIN 965, PH 1) so that the spring is towards the top of the device.

DIN holder installation

To install unit on the DIN rail, slide the unit onto the rail from above (in the direction of arrow 1 in the picture below), against the spring resistance downwards and then clicking the lower part (in the direction of arrow 2 in the picture below).

Mounting on DIN rail

(!)

Attention:
Avoid pressure on the terminals as they could be mechanically damaged.

/!\

Caution:
Make sure that the upper edge of the DIN rail runs between the spring and the rear of the DIN holder (see figure above). Improper mounting of the DIN bracket can cause injury when mounted on the DIN rail.

  • Use the device only for the purpose for which it was designed.
  • Ensure compliance with the operating parameters of the device.
  • Do not use the device in environments with extreme temperatures, high humidity, or chemical vapors.
  • Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or heat sources.
  • The maximum temperature of the air entering the device must not exceed the values specified in the operating parameters.
  • Do not overload the device beyond its rated values.
  • If abnormal operation occurs (e.g. overheating, burning smell, smoke), immediately disconnect the equipment from the power supply and contact service.

/!\

Danger:
Never use the device in areas with an explosion hazard!

/!\

Warning:
Before maintenance, make sure the environment and equipment are disconnected from all voltage sources.

  • Regularly check the condition of power cables and connectors.
  • Regular maintenance is recommended for the device to ensure the tightening of connector terminal screws.
  • When cleaning dust, use a long-bristle brush in combination with a vacuum cleaner to prevent dust from being blown around. Always keep the vacuum nozzle at a sufficient distance from the device! You may also use compressed air (with minimal humidity) to blow dust from the interior of the device, again in combination with the vacuum cleaner.
  • Never tamper with the internal parts of the device.
  • In case of malfunction, contact authorized service, do not carry out repairs yourself.

DIN demounting

/!\

Warning:
Prior to demounting, make sure that the unit is disconnected from the power supply.

Demounting of the unit is done with opposite procedure, i.e. hold the unit with both hands and push it down, against the spring resistance (in the direction of arrow 1 in the figure below). Then pull the bottom edge of the unit towards you (in the direction of the arrow 2 in the picture below).
